I am 2 years out from my diagnosis, and have only lost 10 of the 50 pounds I gained from the chemo treatments and having mobility issues from fluid retention in my legs. My oncologist says not to be concerned but I have never had a weight problem (avg 150-160)and now it seems nothing works. I hate the way I look-also a new thing for me...I'm not a vain person, but i just don't feel attractive. I am scheduled for my reconstructive surgery next month and worried that if i do eventually figure out a way to lose the weight will it ruin the work that was done?
Thank you in advance...
