A very interesting read from The Bobble this morning. Attended the Shrewsbury game last night and speaking very highly of David Hughes.

“One moment in particular encapsulated his approach. When Joel Catesby was substituted, Hughes didn’t simply offer a routine handshake. Instead, he brought the player into the technical area and spent time walking him through a tactical situation, offering guidance and clarity. It was a small but telling interaction”.

Maybe the start of our Academy actually being something again.
