... I think I hated him more than anyone on the planet except for Bob Paisley. But in the end I ended up quite liking both of them for different reasons. He was a passionate player and manager and wouldn't sit around waiting to be sacked in order to pocket a big pay off as almost all managers seem to do these days. No idea about the stuff Beechside alleges below but from what I observed he seemed a decent person who gave his all. RIP
