I do think a fully fit / in prime Cole Palmer & fully fit Saka would have made an impact at this World Cup, but on reflection getting to the semi finals is a marvellous achievement.
Compare to the dross of early England attempts, the last 6 years there has been an upward trend.
I’ve had a passing interest in this Wprld Cup, but just can’t wait till the new season starts
