She may well have started out in politics with good intentions and to be fair, she does speak well, but this is unfortunately the way both major parties are run these days - donors and lobbying groups effectively call the shots. Anyone who stands in the way is frozen out.

I'm deeply suspicious about the fact that the guy who has given up the Makerfield seat for Burnham to run is a former director of this group. What is he getting in return?
