Remember coming out of school at dinner time and seeing the Chile World Cup team bus outside ayresome park. And seeing Leonil Sanchez the Chilean forward sat on one of window seats with a thumbs up sign to me as I waited for him to get off the bus.

He was the star of the side and one of the best South American players of the century (Infamous during the battle of Santiago match against Italy) and had a big beaming smile as he signed my autograph book

I will never forget that treasured memory and rushing home after school to tell my dad. I loved the World Cup from that moment on but now not so much.
