the thing that irked me is that he'd get himself fit then go off and play 3 games for Ireland in a week then he seemed to be injured until the next international break all whilst picking up £60k a week off us
If he was serious about us he should have quit international football

No-one's doubting his dedication and contribution to the club, but top clubs are ruthless and understand when to stick and when to twist.
Any club with ambition and a desire to win things would have got rid of Coleman some years ago. That's just how top competitive clubs operate. I wish that was more how Everton operate.
The one caveat is IF Coleman had shown a desire to hang up his boots and join the coaching staff, in which case I imagine he'd have been a decent addition to the staff.
But that's not the case, he wants to play on, and we want to move on, so it's best and the most professional solution for all if he leaves.

wants to keep playing for Ireland and there should still be a place for him at Everton even if it's spasmodic. Some of the comments about him on this forum during last season make me cringe. I wish you appreciated Everton like he does.
Speaking of tedious...here's Mazzzzzzz![]()
