Whilst you are of course correct, years of Evertonians making the same 'have patience' comments early doors in the pre-season only to find that most of this stuff drags on and on until mid-late August whilst all around us tend to get at least a good chunk of their business done early on, tends to bring out the cynic in virtually all of us Toffees.

We've just read the same disappointing script far too many times to have much confidence in the club getting business done in good time in order for decent integration etc. to happen.

That's just - sadly - not particularly Everton.

I was hoping there would be some early movement given our poor finish to the season. It has all the hallmarks of a Moyes late late show with last minute loans as the WC is blamed.
