Secondly, if you're going to say that Moyes is a culture-builder and an all-round good egg, then it's manifestly unfair - disingenuous even, to then not give him a contract because we shit the last 7 games.
Whenever he wrote those notes (and I suspect it was quite a long time before that actual fixture) then you have to be aware that results can make you a hostage to fortune - which they subsequently did.
He doesn't say much - which I applaud. But Kinnear has got to be less naive about what and how he says, when he does choose to open up. Own goal - and an unnecessary one.

coming close to beating City and getting a point away at Palace. Of course there were still grumbles and criticisms of Moyes, some would have wanted him gone regardless BUT had we not shat the bad against Sunderland and turned up at Spurs, which was reasonable to expect, the end of the season's end would have taken on a different complexion and the majority would probably have settled for sticking with Moyes (if grudgingly). These last 2 games have tipped the balance and the majority are now wanting a change.
Even me, I was Mo-yes and am now leaning towards Mo-no.
Looks like Iraola is off the the RS and I doubt we could get Glasner who is being lined up for talks with Milan, apparently.

finished six places below Sunderland whilst palace and Villa win another trophy and our neighbours sack a manager who won the title a year ago.
Happily dissatisfied indeed
