One thing to consider is that we will have all our targets, with data driven analysis this year, then the agent dialogue, no European football, but better situation than last year.
We obviously want the best quality players we can get, going for low hanging fruit, early quick wins are likely not be the most attractive talent etc. So aim high and then end up with the best we can get, which may need a lot more patience than some of us would like, me and Ste included. Wait and see - lets aim high.
The other big elephant in the room is the World Cup - people, players agents wanting to get a good performance to increase wages and valuations. My concern with a World Cup is that many players after a tough season, then blow out in the Summer and take months to recover mentally.
So those not going like Jarrod Bowen may be more attractvie and can hit the ground running in August.
Also I especially have concerns around Gana and Ndiaye - they will have two major tournaments in one calandar year - even within 6 months! Previous Message

I pay a fuck tonne of money to watch Everton, I’ll moan if I want, ignore my posts if it’s too much for you but until I see some actual improvements in something we do, I’ll continue to criticise, I’ll continue to want better, I’ll continue to not accept mediocrity as success because previous seasons were slightly more shit.

Spurs sign a 29 year old CB (they’re losing Romero BTW) and our ‘transfer committee are useless’.
To all the critics, why not just wait just a few weeks to see what happens before and after the World Cup?
