He’s not at an age where you’d expect him to be losing his pace - should be in his prime, in fact - so would certainly hope that it’s one of those where he just needs a new start. Can’t imagine it’s been too much fun at West Ham, recently!

We’re not going to be signing £20m-£30m players in every position so this feels like a good use of whatever budget we do have, in order to upgrade two positions. Regardless of who the manager is, I’d be keen on this one.
