Now is the time to back him! With a fit Branthwaite we would have had 15 more points.
Pure speculation
Given a few new signings hitting the ground running we'll be doing very well next season.
They'd need to be in their late 20s before being given to opportunity to hit the ground running.
I support Moyes 100% both short and long term.
As is your right.
I really believe we'll do well under him.
A two parter here: Define 'Really well' and what viewed evidence from this season makes you think he will deliver?
We're a lot stronger now than under Dyche and Lampard.
Not defending either, but Moyes is the only one who has spent on multiple players. You expect the team to do better by default.
Moyes always improves his teams, year by year.
Thats simply not true. Early in his career (Ie, Preston and Everton) he left them in a stronger position than when he arrived. Ultimately, he still failed to deliver what could be called success.
Everywhere else you'll not hear much praise aimed in his direction. Even West Ham fans are not enamoured after he stumbled to the Europa Conf. He then squandered 100m pure profit of the Declan Rice money on mostly shite.
He's great at building teams, as we know.
He really isn't. We really don't. For every Jagielka there's a Koldrup, for every Cahill there's a Vlasic who he spent over 25m on, 5 years ago! When he signs talented players he often has no clue how to deploy them. Ask West Ham fans if Benrhama (spelling?) was used properly.
There is a plan for sure. Under the other managers it seems not to be the case.
Previous managers worked for an utter circus. You've already praised the owners as being sensible people. Moyes was never part of their plan. Dyche fucked the plan by throwing in the towel. They owe Moyes the square root of fuck all besides contractual obligations. He's certainly not owed any sympathy after his ludicrously limited squad rotation.
We will get better!
10th? Steady progress with 52 points.
