in the Bridewell pub in Liverpool before the England Australia Rugby League match, we enjoyed a pint chatting all things Rugby League, Everton, Hill Dickinson Stadium etc, he came across very well. Before i left I shook his hand and told him that I might have just had a pint with the next Prime Minister, he said “stranger things have happened”

…I looked up his Wiki a wee while ago and found out that he lived in Culceth just across the East Lancs rd from Lowton where I lived - it’s where Jane Horrocks is from).
Then I saw he went to St Aelreds Secondary School in Newton Le Willows as I did! Small world!
