Not a chance in hell the members vote for him, they hate him. He may have the best chance with public, but not members, oppostite for Raynor.
Just been looking at seats for Burnham, he has said it needs to be north west, its unlikley one of the liverpool seats lets him in, they are pretty tribal, and the mancester seats are either reform targets or have mps that wont move.

What a shitshow, there is a scenario here were he steps down, labour loose manchester mayoralty then Burnham loses the westminister seat too.

Whoever they pick wont change a thing.....out of Macron, Merz and Starmer, Starmer has the highest appoval rating, its impossible to govern anywhere at the moment. Their best hope, as mad as it sounds, is to stick with Starmer, there is an outide chance, this stubourn holding on and stoicism starts to be a strenght...ok its a slim chance, but a chance.
