No idea, but the team at Var surely did. Surely it was them who said that the ball hit the hand square as opposed to some of shite I’ve read about ‘grazing’ the hand etc.
In all honesty, it was an unfortunate situation, but could have been a penalty for the handball or the elbow to the neck.
