watching the women's team vs Arsenal - we were holding on for a very creditable 0-0 draw and deep into injury time Arsenal score with a flick on from an offside position (and rolled into the net with the keeper injured on the floor)

gives me flashbacks to that Chelsea game under Martinez when John Terry scored and a very quick and simple VAR check would have ruled it out.

why can't we just have a system where someone is watching on TV and if the ref/linesman aren't sure whether it's offside or not they can have a quick chat in a huddle and get outside advice?

anyway, a reminder that conceding a goal that's a clear official error is fucking annoying.
