If they want to extend him, then they have to go all in Moyes and give him the greater say on transfers for his 'right now' players. It makes a large chunk of the finch farm recruitment over the past 15 months pointless.
If they still believe in their methodology (flatter structure, develop younger players) then Moyes will get his inevitable titty lip and it simply won't work.
Moyes and Kenwright worked becaise he was allowed to do whatever he wanted within the financial constraints. His only remit was keep the heat off Bullshit Bill, which he did with room to spare.
My problem now is, since the chance of a really great finish was in sight he's just reverted to type: rabbit in the headlights. No variation. To use an oft used phrase, a bottle job. Whenever he got close with Everton before, he shits his pants. It's not going to change.
Despite my Moyes out vibes, I'm not that bothered what they do, but do something and be decisive about it. By June first he needs extending or we're well on the way to appointing his replacement.
