Of course, he'll keep us from being relegated.
I suppose if that's the limit of our ambitions the owners should keep him and hand him even more time here.

who think ditching Moyes would be an act of self harm. So yes maybe if Moyes gets an extension some fans will be upset.....but that applies to getting rid of him too.

...and that's not going to go down too well with a lot of blues.
He's barely shifted the dial in terms of overall points tally on the back of the cash spent, which has largely been frittered away on peripheral players.
If he wears a final season before shifting out the club that's probably be the wisest solution, but I doubt he'll do that and he'll be looking for an extension.
The owners had other people in mind prior to Moyes stepping in, so it'll be interesting to see what they think this summer. I suspect they'll opt to extend his contract.
We need inspiration and I dont think Moyes provides that.

Lots to ponder but fundamentally for me is that we have stabilised and there has been progress.
The past 3 years of doom and gloom, Dycheball and huge debts have been replaced by TFG, HDS and some decent players.
Moyes, marmite to some, has reunited the team spirit that Dyche destroyed and reinvigorated positivity. Whilst not the answer for the future he is there to ensure that we are moving forward.
He knows our DNA and albeit cautious at times he is a safe pair of hands at a time when we really needed that. The players speak highly of him and hopefully he eventually moves upstairs in a consultancy role.
We now have a base to build on and we all know what is required and this simply must start to happen in the next window with fullbacks and a No 9 absolute priorities. TFG must deliver this to show real intent.
I am personally happy that we have moved up the table albeit some results (good and bad) have surprised me. We will have new stadium blues behind us next season and can kick on. I am genuinely not bothered about Europe, I believe it is too soon and it would wreck our PL campaign.
There is some deadwood that needs offloading and replaced by better players, I am sure that this in in hand. It will be interesting if we retain Grealish and I hope we can keep George who looks a real player when given the chance.
Two games left, 6 points to play for and I expect 4. Never thought I would say that this season but both games are winnable. I would like to see Rohl in his natural position perhaps with Charly and play Jimmy RB to accommodate?
