we're now a portfolio club, just one club amongst a number (plus other interests) TFG own. So we should no more expect a Friedkin to be sat in the Director's Box every week than we should expect to see them at Roma.
I think they 'speak' to us via their actions. The people they've employed, the structure that looks like it's emerging, the players they've recruited.
It's entirely possible to misread tea leaves, but I think they are owners who will communicate via Angus Kinnear and sit in the background 99% of the time.

This is what I hope he's grilled on at the end of the season.
Not only Armstrong, his treatment of a lot of the fringe players. If he wasn't happy with the signings made, he could have vetoed them.
I'm not a fan of managers running down their final year, but I'd be onboard with that over am extention that's arguably not deserved, and clearly not in line with the direction the owners want to go.
