The biggest issue for me re Moyes and moving forward as other people have pointed out is that the he has become a divisive figure due to various reasons.
Personally i would like Iraola but if the owners decide that it slow steady, sustainable progress then we have to go with moyes.(im not against that)
I get why people are wary of managent change aa we have been burnt so badly in the past, although that was due more to the selection ratger than the change itself.

It’s a shame we didn’t have a cup run and annoying that we haven’t had a statement win at Hill Dickinson against a top side (maybe Chelsea, but they’ve been shit for a while).
But we needed a season of stability and to lay some foundations and Moyes has done that.
With so many teams banking on Champions League and not getting it, stability is key now. Last thing we want is a risky managerial appointment.
Palace are offering Iraola full control of transfers. No thanks!

It would be very sad if Moyes left us on a sour note after all he has done for us but at the same time if we keep him on any longer we will just get more of the same. Moyes is not a dinasaur but he is very much the leopard that will never change his spots.
In my opinion we have man for man a better squad of players than Bournemouth. However Bournemouth might be in the Champions League next year because they have manager who goes into every game believing he can win whereas we have a manger who on too many occasions has gone out to just get a point.
I dont know whether Moyes will be let go at the end of the month but I definitely wouldn't give him a new contract. His remit when he came back was to get us out of relegation trouble and transition the team from Goodison to HD. He has achieved both in spades and I thank him for it. Moyes was meant to be a bridge and nothing more.
The Friedkin era will not begin in earnest until they bring in their own man who is in line with their vision.
