The biggest change seems to have come since Barry's social media posts with the obvious change being the idiotic booing of Barry when he comes on as a sub, but and Alex and I have also both noticed that Barry is given much more stick than Beto when things don't go right. Even if it's a bad pass to them - if it's Beto, zero reaction as it's just a bad pass, if it's Barry there are howls of derision about how crap he is. Compare that to the joyous scenes when he finally scored his first goal for us and it's oceans apart.
Even after his 2 goals against City, social media has still been full of criticism for him and I think it's going to be very difficult for that to be turned around, for the booing to stop, and encouragement to be given and probably for him to stay at the club - something that I find ridiculous when I honestly think that it's primarily based on his social media post rather than his footballing ability.

It's hard to judge a player that's been in and out of the team in their debut season.
But my opinion did switch after the Arsenal game. I thought he was pretty much done for after that.
It's a thankless task playing upfront for Everton. Must be one of the toughest gigs in the game.
He's currently our joint top scorer on 8. If he can get to 10 by the end of the season, that's a pretty decent return given he's been sharing that position with Beto.
His demenaour is probably his biggest flaw with regards to the fans attitude towards him. He needs to run around like a blue arse fly a bit more to get some of the fanbase back onside. They love that shit

Not to keep TS happy but not convinced there is enough there to persevere with.
Its good that he got the goals tge otgernight as might convince other teams he
is worth a punt.
This time last week not sure you would even have asked this question 😉
