I think stability is often under-rated but I'm really enjoying it after the decades of dread and chaotic mismanagement - I'm fine with a steady few years of gradual progression.

or just let him see out the remainder of this and then cut ties?
Thats what I would do FWIW.

I agree that some players are starting that I don't feel "deserve it" based on their performances, some of his substitions haven't been great and I would have definitely liked to see more of Rohl (not too bothered about Dibling as he's been largely underwhelming when introduced and doesn't look ready yet, Alcaraz is a good bench option but not necessarily a starter for me) but I can't argue with where his team selections have got us this season overall.
Yes there have been some awful results and performances, but there have also been some massive "overachievements" and for me I think the overall squad is much better and the performances are generally far more enjoyable - and when all I really wanted for this season was for us to steer well clear of relegation and to get ourselves into the new stadium without too many issues then it's difficult for me to find too many faults as they've massively overdelivered on that, despite only having 12 players still in contract last summer.
In May 2025 Angus Kinnear said that they were looking at 2 summer transfer windows to get the squad anywhere near where they wanted it to be, so I'd like to see how the squad looks in September and how our league position is looking in December before making any decision on Moyes' future.
Some might see my "baseline" as a low bar, but Rome wasn't built in a day and after the last few decades of chaos I'm absolutely delighted that we are where we are and I don't seen any need to rock the boat - especially as much as a change of manager would cause at this stage.
I think some of our fans (not necessarily on here but certainly on social media in general) have pretty short memories and seem to want everything immediately - slow and steady is just fine with me personally.

4-5 weeks, 40mil, and 353 premier league minutes
What a shitshow
Why spend so long focussing on him, why spend so much. Pretty clear Moyes doesnt rate him or think he is ready.
Add that money to the money spent on Barry and we could have signed a decent striker
as for Moyes and not playing youngsters
he played Rodwell at 16
he played declan rice a fair bit at west ham
so its not clear cut
however
he does tend to trust experience and favour it over youth, and there is no question for me the likes of Alcaraz, Rohl and Dibling, should have been given more game time this season. Alcaraz especially, who always looks to drive forward.
