between now and the end of the season - stick him behind the striker, tell him to just go for it and enjoy himself.

As witnessed by Tyrique George getting on ahead of him every week.

He plays right midfield for Villa, so he could be the new McNeil and block Dibling still further.
The only way this makes sense is if we plan to move O’Brien infield and so no Tarkowski, potentially no Gueye is a lot of experience on the bench so looking to bring a veteran in to manage things on the pitch.

....if Moyes thinks McGinn does better than Armstrong or Rhol next season, what is his incentive to play them instead? Actually I suspect that is a problem whether the manager signed the players or not......Im not sure many fans would be happy with......we arent too worried about Europe or cups next year guys, its a development year....a few of these boys arent ready, but we have to play them to bring them on....you all understand...right?

as well as seemingly becoming more injury prone. Is that we already have Tim, Merlin, Charly and Armstrong who can replace Gana.
I get Moyes is old school and wants a team of players he has spent money on. But hows about getting the most of what he currently has and doing the best for the club.

A slightly above average plodder (but still most definitely a plodder) the wrong side of 30 who brings us nothing we don't already have.
Do we want to be seen as an attractive club that up and coming talent see a clear opportunity or a place for that one last contract before punditry comes calling?
Yes, he's a "Moyes type player," but I definitely don't want to spend the next 3 years watching Moyes type percentage football. It's nothing more than treading water.
I'd hope the owners have greater expectations than Blue Bill and ask some difficult questions before any decision is made.
