Fans were - at best - divided from day one. As Col said, there just wasn’t much there that you could point to as something to work with. Pace, power, skill, finishing, hold up play, aerial ability…there’s not one trait where you’d say ‘we can build on that.’ The thing that’s true is we love a trier, even if they’re limited. Straq, Niasse, Beto will tell you they felt the love. Barry doesn’t even bring that most basic of requirements - and the rest isn’t good enough to make up for the lack of effort.
Arsenal was the moment he stoped caring about us and we stopped caring about him. The rest is inevitable. Gone in the summer; hopefully at not too great a financial loss.

The moment Beto went off. Until then we were causing them all sorts of problems inside and outside the box.
Then that useless waste of space came on. Honestly I put in more effort getting to my seat. Surely Moyes shouldn’t have him anywhere near the first team squad. His attitude stinks. It actually makes us worse than playing with 10 men.
For those on here who have defended him in the past must now realise what the majority said when he started.
