Last few seasons have been harder to enjoy and so a sense of meh set in…this season it’s got exciting again. Not just the league position / wins but a team of players actually playing like a team and a bunch of players I actually quite like and who seem to like being here. You could see how many of them were as heartbroken as the rest of us when that goal went in.

I’ve also got the kids right into it, this year, and had them both watching with me instead of going for breakfast at the place we’re at on holiday. We were crowded around the bar watching together with the two of them jumping up and down when Beto equalised.

Chance to go 6th, big end to the season…damn, that was rough. Very Everton.
