However we do have a smallish squad and I think we have been comparatively fortunate with injuries
Seeing Ekitike stretchered off last night along with Isak missing majority of season I was saying to my lad that neither Beto or Barry have missed a game between them this season
Spurs have had Solanke, Richarlison, Kudus, Madison, Kulusevski all miss large chunks if not all of the season through injury

This year we have the 14th highest value squad in the PL, and currently sit in 8th.
An extra net spend of £100m (assuming other teams don't increase their squad value) would put us to 10th (above Crystal Palace).
Then another £150m needed to reach 7th.
Even if we recruit well I think it's more a case of improving our chances of a top half finish, rather than kicking on to challenge the top 6/7.
Don't get me wrong, consistently finishing top half is no bad achievement. I'm just worried how realistic it is that we get to treat this season as some sort of a baseline.
