Delap might be overrated - didn't get a kick when we played them last year and not pulling up any trees for Chelsea currently
Whoever we sign we have to get service into the box and quick service
Its no point lofting a cross in when Barry has had to wait and then he's surrounded by 3 or 4 defenders
Just look at the goal he scored v Leeds
We were 1 down with 15 mins to go at home and when he met the cross there was no other Everton player within 25 yards of him and he was up against 3 defenders
If we want to get the best out of Beto then the ball needs to be played in front of him - that's how he scored his goals when Moyes 1st came in last season

We know what Beto is, he wont improve - he is 28
But as a sub he never shirks, if he is ok with that, keep him
Barry has a little more about him, and if he was 19 or 20 you'd think ok something to work with
But he is 23.
He might not be cut out for the prem, he is one of those big (6ft 5 ffsake) players who doesnt really use his size
not all strikers need to be physical of course
but he isnt rapid like michael owen, or a clinical finisher like lukaku, or a creator like bergkamp
for 6ft 5, he is not exactly big dunc in the air, or DCL, or richarlison, or Haaland, or cahill
I'd want a new striker in the summer
