I think we’ve all seen enough now. He will never be anywhere near good enough. If we can get any bid of >£10m I’d take it immediately.

Our big takeaway here must be to stop spending big from our limited funds on players from European leagues who are unproven in the PL. Our list of embarrassing failures gets bigger every year and we don’t learn.

Yes Beto is limited but perfectly adequate as backup.
