My older brother was heavily into early 90s rave (complete with acid smiley adorned hard-hat for going out). I refused to believe that anything without guitar, bass, drums could be any good.
It was probably Underworld that first pierced the armour and now I love it all, whether D&B, the big Euro DJs like Armin, Tiësto etc

quite a few for me, although the main one is probably Prince, only started listening to him after he died. I knew of his stuff obviously, growing up, just wasnt for me.
