Anyway,from a selfish point of view, I am sort of hoping he doesn't go to the World Cup. Or it gets boycotted. Can't stand a summer of commentary on how he's too good for Everton and endless links with a move away. It's going to be tough to hold onto him. I may be biased but the best English centre back by some distance is not exaggerating matters unduly.
