think it came out a few years ago but watched it for the first time last night and found it fascinating. I would hardly describe myself as a massive F1 fan and don't watch it these days but the mid-late 80s and early 90s when it was at its peak was a captivating era. What struck me in the interviews and stories from the time was just how humble and decent a man Mansell seems to be and he even got quite emotional when talking about the support he got from fans. In the era of playboy drivers Prost, Senna and Piquet, this down to earth, ordinary looking bloke from the Midlands was up there with the best of them. His unassuming demeanour though belied a steely determination, focus and will to win. Was interesting to hear him describe the battle to keep the adrenaline and emotions in check as races wore on. Great insight into the sport. And Nelson Piquet sounds like he was a right cunt, insulting Mansell's wife and digging him in his injured ribs to the point Mansell threatened to spark him out!
