is that almost every Spurs fan I know throws the towel in when the going gets tough. Genuinely lost count of the number of them who just say “I don’t support them anymore” when they’re having a bad season and that was reflected the other night when their stadium exodus began at half time vs Palace.
Compare and contrast to how our fans rallied around with the gathering outside Goodison pre-match to show we weren’t going to take relegation lying down. Spurs on the other hand you can well imagine going down with just a whimper. Their players are on their own and it shows.

“A souless club with an idiotic fanbase”
I’ve lived in Enfield for nearly 12yrs and it’s a massive Spurs area. 9mins on train from Enfield Town Stn - White Hart Lane Stn. People young and old, male & female in shirts, trackies etc on a daily basis, massive part of the community and all the pubs have memorabilia as you’d expect
I’d say they’re very much like us. Most born and bred within the area, hate their red neighbours(and West Ham), know their place but aspire for and expect more, decent support home & away and are generally pretty knowledgeable of the game and open to honest opinion and discussion.
I’ve got and made a lot of good Spurs mates and had a fair few trips to the stadium for European games and rugby games
In contrast, I lived in Islington for 5yrs and could see The Emirates from our bedroom window. I never used to mind Arsenal fans til I lived there - massive wankers!

Absolutely fantastic to not be involved and to be able to 'enjoy' watching those who wished us gone suffering right now.
Sky must be rubbing their hands with glee.
Mighty Everton for the past few seasons and now the mighty Spurs. The last day of this season is likely to be similar to when we played Bournemouth with the scenario changing throughout the 90.
To think we could be pivotal to different scenarious only adds flavour to the feast we are soon to digest.
The big 5 became the big 6. Do Spurs stay there if they escape after 2 dreadful seasons? Does another team replace them? Who knows.
I do hope Spurs trip up. A souless club with an idiotic fanbase. I don't think they will though.
Lots of twists and turns to come and those at the bottom are all playing each other which should keep the temperature high.
On another note, who knows if we can sneak in to European contention? A strange season for us is starting to become interesting and should we sneak something v Arsenal hopes will return.
