I literally don't care who goes down - I'm far too busy feeling relaxed about our position and looking up the table to be arsed about who is scrapping away down there - I'm just glad we're not.
As I said at the end of last season, I had zero expectations in terms of big transfers as I knew how many players would be leaving/out of contract etc. and obviously the stadium move was the big thing - all I wanted was for us to be going into the new stadium as a Premier League team, and then staying there this season. That was it.
So in that respect the club (and David Moyes) have massively over-achieved. I would have bitten your arm off for a season without any relegation concerns, and - despite some of the younger "ones for the future" not getting much chance so far, Grealish was obviously a big bonus, but for me the acquisition of KDH alone was an absolute masterstroke (I'd recommend his latest interview on Sky - I think he would be an excellent choice as our next captain) and some of the football and the results we've had have been way beyond what we've been used to for far too long. Yes there have been some stinkers, but Rome wasn't built in a day, and I think the foundations are all there, both on and off the field for us to continue to progress steadily.
I understand why some of our fans get frustrated with things (particularly Moyes), but I honestly think they have short memories - the club is as stable as it's been for decades and I see no reason to rock the boat when we are where we are - looking forwards (and upwards) with genuine positivity rather than blind hope.
If there's one message to take from all this Spurs (and West Ham) stuff I think it's that you should be careful what you wish for - stability and a slow and careful building process isn't to be sniffed at.

All those "we're going down, aren't we" moments from recent memory came flooding back. Losing at Burnley after leading at half time. Then going 5 points behind them with a few games left. Losing at home to Southampton. Going 0-2 down at home to Palace. Leicester getting a penalty to go 3-1 up. Leicester taking the lead against West Ham on the final day.
Having said that, if your scenario comes to pass, I hope we thump them so hard it relegates them twice.
