I asked the question.
He was cagey but:
We have irons in the fire
A deal not far away
12 clubs have to lose the gambling companies end if this season so there is a lot of competition to get the right deal.
It helps that 2 of the 12 are in a relegation battle.
Our main competition is with Villa
We’re ahead of the likes of Fulham to get the best deal
So basically I didn’t learn much. But thought I’d pass it on.
