McNeil played well, on a number of dribbles he was able to position his body such that a tackle bounced into his path, which must be a skill considering how many times it happened.
Gueye popped up all over the pitch, which I still don’t know if it was a good thing or not given he’s supposed to be in a midfield two, but spent a decent amount of time standing on the right wing. He definitely aids the press when he is relentless like today, but I think Garner allows us to play 2 box to box midfielders with his defensive work.
There’s a Brentford fan at work who is of the opinion that Ivan Toney must be the biggest tool in the world for clubs to ignore him.

thats a very solid 'near spine' of top class players
not a pop at Barry or Beto, but imagine we had someone like Lukaku in the team (not the current Lukaku, but the one from first time around)
