into the movie (culminating in the famous horse's head scene) really set the tone. There is a cold and calculating edge to Hagen which Duvall portrayed perfectly in both parts 1 and 2. A fine actor.

Greed used to have to put on makeup and sit at the table pretending to be ambition.
