Dave T's left peg
Having effectively deliberately denied a goal which was actually scored by someone else not involved in the tussle, he'd have probably have been awarded the type of hero status given only to the likes of Suarez after his deliberate handball against Ghana. You'd never hear the end of it. "Genius move", "Saved our season" etc etc.
In hindsight, the officials probably had little choice and it's highly unlikely to happen again but it still doesn't feel right to me.

Also, haven't seen this said but doesn't that mean Szob is now banned for 3 games?
It was the correct decision, not just in the context of this game, but also the impact on future games - he's basically been their best player this season and their next three opponents would rightfully be fuming if he'd not been red carded and then played in their upcoming fixtures.
They would also have opened up an absolute can of worms for future officiating if they hadn't applied the rules properly.
