That PGMOL watch guy funnily did something on this sort of thing earlier in the week, and how an offence which would be a DOGSO, but a goal is still scored, should be a yellow card not red as the denial bit doesn't happen. Only thing I can see that is at all different here is that Haaland subsequently fouled Szlobozai so he was denied the opportunity to deny a goal scoring opportunity.... completely bizarre and one I wish Poulson had had the guts to tell VAR to get lost. And Haarland had clearly beaten Szoboszlai to the race for the ball and would have ensured it was a goal if he hadn't prevented been by Szoboszlai's foul.
IMO, they should have given the goal anyway.
