Is there a requirement to have an away game ?
Not as if there are a large number of Ivorians on Merseyside. Could understand playing them in Paris.
At least if they were playing Senegal at BMD you might have local kids going to see Ndiaye play.

Been talk for a while that Scotland will play a friendly at BMD in March this year as a "home" game for an African country. We confirmed we play Japan at home on Sat 28th Mar, so suggestion is we play Ivory Coast on 30th at BMD.
Not sure how many tickets Scotland will get as the away team, but if they want it sold out it should be 35-40k so will get a ticket no bother as part of the SSC, would be even better if there is a neutral ballot via Forever Blue+.
But it raises the question, were there any packages the club sold that entitled access to non EFC or non football events at the stadium?
