It was the same at points last season when Tarkowski looked awful and Keane the composed one, yet Dyche swapped out Branthwaite for Keane as soon as he was fit.
It could be that Tarkowski just doesn't trust Keane and tries to 2nd guess what's going to happen, knowing some kind of lapse is inevitable rather than concentrating on his game alone.
A lot is made of JO'B clean sheet record at centre back, well.....he's partnered Tarkowski for all of those games. When we concede goals Keane is at centre back.
It's not an exact science, but I suspect Keane pulls Tarkowski down, where as Keane is Keane whoever he plays with. (A bang average PL Centre Back capable of scoring but prone to pretty regular lapses)
