I dont expect too much of Starmer, to be honest. This job was just a box ticked in his career. He's not a political animal. He's a politician as much as he is a human rights lawyer. A vacuous turd who's fighting for his job who'll say or do anything not to be turfed out.

I hated seeing Rutter kiss his arse (he has been the most fawning I rekon), but then.......what if all the advice he is getting is.....dont suck up and you wont change a thing, other than risk more dead Ukranians? We can think of all the politicians as just rats in it for themselves...and I have sympathy with that, but for a minute lets be a bit more symapthetic, they almost certainly hate the guy, they probably find it personally degrading so suck up to him, but know or think its for the best?
