He's clearly lost a yard of pace and is still on the lash every international break.
I do think he's wasted out on the left, mainly because he can't beat a man with his pace any more. Maybe worth a crack as a 10?

I just don't know that he gives us enough of an extra dimension to warrant spending big on a player who's the wrong side of 30 with little pace. Prepared to be proved wrong over the course of the rest of the season, of course. I would think if Moyes is still manager in the summer the deal is likely to be done. Previous Message

Wonderful player. But I think he’s wasted on the left. He’s a great outlet there, but he’d be devastating as a 10.
