Zahawi who said reports of him being under investigation by HMRC for millions of pounds of unpaid tax were "slurs" before admitting that, um, well actually that's exactly what was happening. But he's not a tax dodger, no no no, it just slipped his mind that he had all this income he should have declared, all a big misunderstanding and people suggesting otherwise are just trying to cast aspersions on a man of total integrity. A protege of the fine upstanding knight of the realm Sir Jeffrey Archer, no less.
Jenrick, the political chameleon, no bandwagon he will refuse to jump on, says he's put his personal ambition aside for a shot at being Farage's successor, er, sorry to "stand up for his principles". Didn't know he had any.
Apparently he was known in political circles as Robert Generic before his recent conversion to rabid right wingery.

I am afraid I find her very aggressive language and her failure to recognise any failings in the governments of which she was a member, including in the departments she was responsible for, whilst castigating the current government even when inappropriate quite repulsive. For me, she is not fit for the role she currently has.
For the Tories to really recover I think they need to break from the last government and find an untarnished leader with a focus on articulating policies that can take the country forward.
Jenrick was always a problem so it will help her that he has gone. The Tories dont need a right-wing faction aping Reform within their midst.
