Just remove penalties. They play 15 min periods until someone scores, we’ll be here all night if we have to. That might prompt them to commit men forward. Previous Message
... almost all the FAC games at the weekend that went to extra time ended up going to penalties. I think that withdrawing two players at the start of extra time + another two at fifteen minutes would almost guarantee a goal within extra time and would be a great spectacle. The England Germany Euro 96 semi final was one of the most exciting extra times I ever saw.
However the powers that be are much more likely to do away with extra time. Previous Message
