So many amazing results over the years in replays. Everton 5-4 Spurs AET under Carlo springs to mind as well!
Now I wouldn’t say we should have multiple replays anymore. But replays man. They were just the business.

Not only does it mean the tie is decided by actually playing football, everyone wants to avoid the replay so they fucking go for it in the first game, giving us enjoyable cup ties.
The prevailing view from pundits is that extra time is too boring so why not go straight to penalties… that would be a real shame because as you say they are a shite way to decide a fixture. Previous Message
