He covers a lot of ground like James but isn’t as quick over the first 5 yards and doesn’t tackle as well.
He had one season when he scored a lot of goals from midfield but I don’t think he has reproduced that form since.
I’d prefer that we give Garner his contract rather than sign Gallagher.
