last season they, like everyone else associated with the club, would have been delighted with what they saw. Now they've invested a fair amount in the playing squad, they are maybe asking some more uncomfortable questions and perhaps giving a bit of negative feedback which he doesn't take kindly to.
If this is the case, it's difficult to see him remaining in post beyond this season, but a strong finish as key players return might be enough to turn it around. Previous MessagePrevious Message
The zen-like calm manager quietly making a silk purse out of a sow's ear with rational managerial decisions on team choices and and tactics has been replaced by a finger-pointing, player under the bus throwing nark who cant see what's going on in front of him.
He's still in there somewhere. Maybe he knows he's on the hook for the players he signed but not knowing what to do with them and he's feeling that pressure. We're missing players, but so are others. He needed to show that he could adapt without them and bring through the lads signed in the summer. Either they're all shit or he cant do his job in that respect.
Whatever, the shine of this manager has dulled considerably in the last couple of months or so.
All that said, I can see him sitting the senior players down and finishing this season off with a more than respectable flourish and we'll probably get top ten IMO. It'll be a very respectable season in the end but one scarred by this winter. Previous Message

It’s frustrating at times, I agree. Moyes is not without his faults, I agree. But the progress is indisputable. There’s no guarantee at all that the next flavour of the month doesn’t turn into one of the many pumpkins we’ve endured over the last decade+.
Again, I’m not preaching giving the man a permanent pass. But I think we can allow for a bad patch when he has (literally) half the squad unavailable and has only had one transfer window to try and improve things.
