Just saw a stat showing we’re the most improved side in the PL (by points) vs this time last year…

11 points up vs this time in 2025. City and Villa next up (+8), then Arsenal (+6). It’s frustrating at times, I agree. Moyes is not without his faults, I agree. But the progress is indisputable. There’s no guarantee at all that the next flavour of the month doesn’t turn into one of the many pumpkins we’ve endured over the last decade+. Again, I’m not preaching giving the man a permanent pass. But I think we can allow for a bad patch when he has (literally) half the squad unavailable and has only had one transfer window to try and improve things.

- Away from the stats versus talk of static football I'm wondering where the Moyes of last season is - stanleypark January 11, 2026, 11:02 am
- Thank God For Moyes - but paceless, low scoring footie is not sustainable into next season NT - Still Feeling Blue January 11, 2026, 10:25 am
- Do you think it’s sustainable to continue scoring approx 1 goal a game & earn approx 1.5 pts for it? - In_The_City January 11, 2026, 7:32 am
- Moyes has got my support. But I still think Fabregas would be perfect for us in the future. - Martin F January 11, 2026, 4:44 am
