I was a big Moyes fan until he strung along that utter dope of a chairman and walked on a free. As Col says above, managers in final season are generally a lame duck unless they're absolutely top draw and command instant respect. He dithered over signing a contact and quite rightly took the UTD job and received a guard of honour! How very Everton, should have been fired.
I'm grateful for what he did last season, he seemed to have been a little more attack minded, it hasn't taken long for him to revert to type.
There's going to a lot of managers hopping around this summer, the club needs to keep near the front of the queue when it comes to negotiations and selling 'the project' (if they even know what it is)
