Palace won the cup last year, and wigan won and got relegated. So cups, we always have chance, and more of a chance the better the squad is. Europe, if we can get in to one of the lesser cups, we can win that, West Ham did.

I honestly can’t see us ever challenging for trophies well not in my lifetime anyway I am 69. We have been left behind from the mid 90s and even with new who I rate highly I can’t see that happening anytime soon.
Aspiring to mediocrity yes I would agree with that remember in spite of us being a top flight club for decades challenging for trophies on a consistent level has never been in our DNA

I expect to be shot down by all the unrealistic optimists out there but they won’t ever change my opinion.
